Who is EkaSetu designed for?
IT staffing and consulting firms, from a handful of consultants to a few hundred, that place people with clients, often through prime vendors and sub-vendors, and many with H-1B employees. It runs the back office after the placement: timesheets, approvals, invoices, vendor bills, margin and compliance dates.
Is EkaSetu a software platform or a staffing agency?
A software platform. EkaSetu doesn't place consultants, employ anyone or take a cut of your billing. Your firm keeps its clients, consultants and vendors; EkaSetu is where you run them.
Can we bring our Excel timesheet workflow into the portal?
Yes. Import your people and placements from a CSV export of your ATS or spreadsheet, then consultants enter weekly hours with work, vacation, sick and holiday days, and clients approve from an email link. We'll look at your current spreadsheet together in the walkthrough, including your week boundaries and categories.
Does compliance tracking guarantee legal compliance?
No. EkaSetu keeps visa, EAD, insurance and contract dates in one list, checks each placement's worksite, dates and wage against its LCA, and keeps the public access file checklist. Decisions about immigration and employment law stay with your attorney and advisors.
Can invoices be managed without a paid billing service?
Yes. EkaSetu creates client invoices from approved hours, checks vendor bills against the same hours and shows your margin, and exports to QuickBooks Online as a CSV. A live QuickBooks connection is coming.
How is pricing determined?

How is our data protected?
Every account signs in with a code from an authenticator app, SSNs and passport numbers are encrypted, each company sees only its own data, and sign-ins and changes are recorded in an audit log.
